Tzedakah is righteous giving. The root relates to justice — not optional sentimentality and not brand philanthropy. For Jews it is a mitzvah with levels according to means. Giving trains the heart away from the fantasy that money is ultimate owner of the self.
If you are Jewish: Give according to Halachic guidance and capacity; intention matters, and deed matters. Do not use unworthiness to refuse the mitzvah of giving.
If you are not Jewish: Practice generosity and economic justice under monotheism — honest wages, fair dealing, help without exploitation. Not Jewish charity cosplay; real moral use of resources.
